The main concept of reducing unwanted waste is to reduce landfill areas that pollute and contaminate our local environment and ground water resources. This program will focus on how both the parents and children can be involved from the very beginning of waste production. Thus, known as community participatory approach. All members of the community will learn the benefits of, why to reduce at source and understand the value of reuse. Secondly, use waste as resources for up-cycling and composting. Thirdly, the benefit of selling waste that can recycled. Finally, the unwanted waste that will be incinerated i.e. less than 8-10% of the total waste generated. Further, how to reduce generating such unwanted waste.
