Economic Mission with BM Schallenberg and VP Gady, 22. - 26.10.2022, Seoul korea
ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Seoul, together with the Austrian Embassy Seoul organized an economic mission with the topic “South Korea: the Futre of Logistics & Supply Chain” from the 22nd to the 26 th of October. The delegation trip was led by Federal Foregin Minister Alexander Schallenberg and WKÖ Vice President Philipp Gady. South Korea is currently the 3rd most important arket in Asia for Austrian companies.
In addition to numerous high-lebel meetings at the political level, Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg also celebrated the opening of the exhibition of the KHM’s collection in the Seoul National Museum.
For the business mission, the Ausrtrian delegation paid visits to Korean tech giants such as Hyundai Glovis, Samsung Electronics, CJ Logistics and Naver to conduct successful B2B discussions. A highlihgt of the mission: visit to the AT & S plant in Ansan, where innovative semiconductor boards for the medical sector are manufactured.
The program ended up with a joint visit by Foreign Minister Schallenberg and Vice President Gady to the Austrian Embassy and ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Seoul.
