The Korean Wave (Hallyu) is rolling around the world, conquering the hearts of many fans with K-Pop, K-Drama and K-Beauty etc. K-Fashion is another facet of this trend and is enjoying increasing popularity on the international fashion scene. Parallel to Seoul Fashion Week FW 2023 from March 14th to 19th 2023, Advantage Austria Seoul offered eight Austrian companies from fashion and lifestyle fields a very special program where they could present their products and services (portfolios) to the Korean market. The participants were: The fashion label SHOHEI, young designers MORii, Alpaca knitwear producer Fanni Lemmermayer, shoe producer Markus Bauer Schuhmanufaktur, fashion photographer Jakob Kotzmuth, producer in beddings HEFEL Textil, baby products’ producer MAM and advertising agency Flare Talents. We ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA hope that the series of this business mission can be a steppingstone to conquer the Korean market in the future with products and services “made in Austria”.
