Defence Services Asia 2022 - DSA 2022

Come and visit the AUSTRIAN PAVILION at DSA 2022

Witness the latest trends and solutions in the security and defense industry from Austria.

ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA is organizing an Austrian Pavilion at the DEFENCE SERVICES ASIA 2022 – the most prestigious defence and security show in Asia.

Hosted, supported and co-organised by the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Home Affairs, Defence Service Asia (DSA) is the biggest and most efficiently organized Defence and Homeland Security show in Asia showcasing world’s most advanced technologies, systems, hardware, and electronic warfare that the market has to offer. The 17th edition of DSA (DSA 2022) took place from 28-31 March 2022 at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.

Austria was represented at the exhibition with the Austrian Pavilion supported by the Austrian Defence & Security Industry, which was hosted and organized by Advantage Austria Kuala Lumpur. In total, seven Austrian companies participated in the fair with their own booth, and two other companies took the opportunity to take part in the catalog exhibition (fragmentiX Storage Solutions GmbH and Riedesser & Pallhuber GmbH (SimGun)) . From our point of view, the Austrian Pavilion at DSA 2022 was a huge success. The companies who were represented with their own booth took advantage of the opportunity to maintain and strengthen existing contacts, as well as to grow your network and find new business partners. Furthermore, a networking event was hosted by Advantage Austria Kuala Lumpur to give exhibitors a chance to expand their network and to make up new business opportunities.

As the first DSA after the Covid-19 pandemic, there are some impressive facts about DSA 2022:

  • A whopping RM7.1 billion worth of contracts and MoUs signed

  • A total of 35,567 trade visitors attended the show

  • 380 VIP delegations (foreign and local) were welcomed at the exhibition site

  • 1,096 companies from 49 countries around the world took part

  • 20 international country pavilions were set up, occupying an exhibition space of more than 38,000sqm
