Trade Mission in Automotive & Aerospace 2025
This mission is organized to foster stronger bilateral cooperation, highlight Austria’s technological expertise, and explore opportunities within Malaysia’s rapidly developing industrial landscape.
Malaysia’s automotive and aerospace sectors are experiencing significant growth, supported by the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP 2030). The government’s focus on electric vehicles (EVs), Next Generation Vehicles (NxGV), and the aerospace industry provides vast opportunities for collaboration.
Austria, with its strengths in sustainable technologies, advanced engineering, and automation, is well positioned to contribute to Malaysia’s ambitions, especially in the fields of green mobility and Industry 4.0 integration.
As part of this mission, Austrian delegates will tour leading automotive and aerospace facilities across Malaysia to gain insights into local capabilities and to explore potential synergies with Austrian expertise.
On 1st of October 2025, a dedicated Forum and Networking Session will be held in Kuala Lumpur. This forum will feature presentations by Malaysian counterparts on the opportunities in Malaysia’s automotive and aerospace sectors, alongside presentations by Austrian companies on their technologies and solutions for the market. The event will also include B2B meetings and networking sessions, offering a direct platform for collaboration.
