For the Lang family, developing and experimenting is an integral part of their passion for winemaking, resulting in the creation of a new wine category of 'Raue Liebe' wines. The premium cuvée matures for a full 3.5 years in barrique barrels in a vaulted cellar before this jewel of the Lang red wine estate is sent into a deep sleep by being buried under the earth for another year. At a depth of about two metres, the precious wine receives its finishing touch from Mother Nature herself, because 'the good wine from LANG needs plenty of time'.

The Lang winery exclusively produces red wines, with a particular focus on Blaufränkisch, the most important grape variety in the Mittelburgenland region, and is committed to a long maturation period for its wines.
The Lang red wine estate wishes to establish contacts with wine merchants in Singapore who want to expand their ranges with this very special and unique wine category –"wines matured in barrique barrels in the earth" (aged in buried barrels) – and are looking for full-bodied, mature red wines with velvety tannins.
