The annual Austrian World Summit is a meeting-place for prominent personalities from the worlds of politics, business, and public life, along with start-ups, experts and leading figures from the regions and towns. The object of the exercise is to strengthen partnerships and compare notes on experiences and ideas, thereby s getting sustainable climate protection projects up and running with greater speed.
Presentations of successful and sustainable projects from the fields of energy and climate protection will be centre stage.
There will also be a showcase of innovative technological solutions to combat environmental pollution that may help to mitigate negative consequences for human health.
Other topics will include climate financing for towns and regions, climate protection programs in the USA, the European Green Deal and new approaches to communications relating to climate change.
This year’s event will once again feature the option to participate virtually: up to 1,200 people will have the opportunity to watch the livestream while also chatting with other participants online or holding virtual bilateral meetings with groups or individuals. A moderated discussion panel will also be viewable via chat during the afternoon.
