ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Almaty is awarding the Silk Road Biz Award for outstanding business performance of Austrian companies in Central Asia already for the third time. "With the award, we would like to bring the often unknown success stories of Austrian companies onto the red carpet and into the media spotlight", said Clemens Machal, the Austrian Trade Commissioner in Almaty. The Austrian successes stories in the five Central Asian countries Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are intended to spur further Austrian companies to focus on this growth region. An ideal way to start is to participate in a trade mission.

Applications will be accepted until December 25, 2020

“There are many success stories of Austrian companies in Central Asia. They just have to be told“, encourages Clemens Machal to take part in the Silk Road Biz Award 2021. Applications can be submitted until December 25th , 2020 using an informal e-mail as an “application pitch” to ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Almaty at almaty@advantageaustria.org. "To be nominated, the success story has to be spectacular, outstanding and innovative", says Clemens Machal.
