2021 is a special year for the historically strong partnership between Austria and the United Arab Emirates. As the UAE commemorate 50 years since the nation’s founding in 1971, we celebrate the fact that Austria has contributed to the growth of the UAE since the beginning.
To acknowledge this glorious occasion, our biggest event ever “Austria³“ is combining three mega-events into one. First off, the Austria Connect Gulf Conference, the premier regional conference connecting Austrian trade and businesses across the region, is taking place for the 10th time. Secondly, the visit of our Austrian Federal President H.E. Dr. Alexander Van der Bellen will be the first visit of an Austrian head of state to the UAE in more than 20 years. The Austrian Head of State will also grace the 10th Austria Connect Gulf Conference with his presence. Finally the Austrian National Day Celebration will take place on 18.11.2021 and will serve as the final act of this extraordinary trio of events.
