While already reporting profitable results in 2023 for its core market in the DACH region, the Austrian scale-up was now able to achieve black figures for all its markets, making this a significant milestone for the company.

At the same time, the company recently also announced a reorganization of its management level as part of changes to its operating model and workforce. Jaume Bresco, former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Tus Media, was appointed CTO of the GoStudent Group. His experience building virtual classrooms and online education marketplaces will help drive innovation to improve customer experience across the Group.

Furthermore, previous CFO Duncan McIntyre will leave the company in spring 2024, while the search for a new CFO has already started. As part of its strategic reorganization, GoStudent also decided on a leaner organizational structure that no longer provides for a Chief People and Organization Officer role at C-level.

The great Q1 results and the recent management changes should now help the company strengthen its market-leading position and open the path for continuous innovation and sustainable profitability in the future.
