The latest Global Business Barometer survey among Austrian companies in Australia points to a largely stable business environment, despite ongoing global economic and geopolitical uncertainties.
Most respondents assessed both the general economic climate and the local economic situation over the past 12 months as unchanged. Looking ahead, expectations are slightly more optimistic, with many companies anticipating stable or improving conditions in the year to come. Key performance indicators such as turnover, investment, and employment are expected to remain broadly stable, confirming Australia’s continued attractiveness as a business location.
Political stability, legal certainty, and strong infrastructure are seen as major strengths, while geopolitical tensions and global power rivalries remain the most significant external risks.
