For the first time ever, our networking conference and flagship event for this year, the “AUSTRIA CONNECT Central Asia 2022” will be organized in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 1 -3 June 2022.
The theme for this year’s conference will be: ‘Rising Star Uzbekistan: New Opportunities along the Silk Road’. In just a few years and by initiating significant reforms, Uzbekistan has become the growth leader and economic powerhouse in Central Asia: The relations with its neighbors were reset and the country opened to the outside world while the public and private sector started to rapidly liberalize and modernize.
Uzbekistan and the region of Central Asia offer many business opportunities for Austrian companies in many sectors. In order to increase the presence of the Austrian economy in the Central Asia, Austrian managers, investors, and friends of Austria will meet in Tashkent to network, meet old and find new business partners and get first-hand information about opportunities in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
