THE 2020 BLENDED EDITION OF AUSTRIA CONNECT CHINA
AUSTRIA CONNECT China, the annual flagship conference for the managers of Austrian subsidiaries in China, is Asia's top networking event bringing Austrian companies and their trusted partners together. The 2020 edition will be a blended event and consists of both, digital and physical elements such as online presentations and discussions, pre-booked virtual B2B meetings, an offline panel discussion with live-streaming broadcast in Shanghai as well as dinner networking receptions in Shanghai and Hong Kong. It will take place on Friday, November 6, 2020 under the big topic “Staying ahead of the curve – Navigating China’s new business reality”.
The event is co-sponsored by go-international, a shared export-initiative of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
STAYING AHEAD OF THE CURVE: ON THIS YEAR'S PROGRAM
The exchange with representatives of Austrian businesses in China is still at the heart of AUSTRIA CONNECT China in 2020. A full day of online B2B matchmaking and an offline evening networking reception in Shanghai offer a great opportunity to meet company representatives facing similar challenges as well as service providers highly experienced in Austrian-Chinese trade and business.
Live expert presentations and panel discussions will focus on economic consequences of the pandemic, the future of supply chains and new opportunities for Austrian companies doing business in China and Asia. Interactive virtual sessions broadcasted from our offices all over China will deal with hot topics such as the current geopolitical influences on the economy, China’s transformed consumers and its accelerated digital boom in manufacturing as well as the Austrian perspective on post-Covid business opportunities in China.

REGISTRATION, ENTRY CONDITIONS AND COSTS
The participation fee will be charged by separate payment notice (receipt, no tax invoice) as follows:
- Participation fee for members of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber: EUR 100,-
- Participation fee for non-members and others*: EUR 200,-
* “Others” include service providers like lawyers, freight forwarders, tax advisors, etc.

Please register online via our virtual platform b2match before November 3, 2020. Seats are limited and priority is given to Austrian companies and their subsidiaries in China and Asia. There are only some seats for service providers and their registration can only be confirmed at a later stage.
Cancellation without penalty is possible until October 6, 2020. After this date and up to 10 days before the event, 50% of the fee will be charged, after which 100% of the fee is payable. To cancel your participation, please send an e-mail to shanghai@advantageaustria.org.
