AUSTRIA CONNECT China 2026

AUSTRIA CONNECT China is the largest Sino-Austrian business event in China and the annual flagship event of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, Austria’s official foreign trade promotion organization.

Every year, one of our ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA offices in China hosts this top-level event in one of China’s major cities. The event is supported by go-international, a joint initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.  This year’s AUSTRIA CONNECT China will take place September 20 - 22, 2026, in the vibrant metropolis of Shanghai, China’s economic powerhouse and hub for many foreign-invested companies.


CONFERENCE MOTTO

The conference motto of this year "Strategic Decisions: Strengthening Your Competitiveness in China" addresses the critical challenges of rising competition and increasing localization pressures that companies are facing. Against the backdrop of geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty, our experts will examine through keynotes and panel discussions how foreign invested companies can strengthen their competitive advantage in China.


TARGET AUDIENCE

AUSTRIA CONNECT provides an excellent communication & networking platform for all Austrians and representatives of Austrian companies doing business in China or considering entering the market. We expect around 200 Austrian CEOs, managing directors, and local representatives of Austrian companies, as well as our ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Greater China colleagues and representatives from the Austrian Embassy and Consulates General in China, to participate in this high-profile event.

  • Participation fee for members: EUR 500 (excluding VAT) or RMB 4,000.
  • Participation fee for non-members: EUR 1,000 (excluding VAT) or RMB 8,000.
