E-Mobility in China

Following ambitious targets to reduce CO2 emissions, e-mobility is at the centre of the automotive industry. The Yangtze River Delta, where the e-mobility cluster is growing rapidly, is not only the most important location for the Chinese automotive industry, but also an eminently important automotive sales market. A total of 57 OEMs such as GMC, SAIC and NIO, as well as 223 suppliers listed on the stock exchange, are located in this region.
Furthermore, an equally important e-mobility cluster is emerging in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) around Guangzhou and Shenzhen, which is characterized in particular by up-and-coming brands such as AION and XPeng as well as the current market leader BYD, and also has foreign investment with an e-car plant operated by VW in Foshan.
ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Shanghai and ADAVANTAGE AUSTRIA Guangzhou, will organize an e-Mobility delegation to visit major OEMs, as well as presentations by Austrian companies to experts and meetings with potential business partners. The aim is to identify potential customers from the Yangtze River Delta and Greater Bay Area for Austrian suppliers and to establish B2B contacts.
