Austrian Business Delegation in Yunnan Province
From 29 March – 01 April, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Guangzhou & Chengdu conducted an Austrian Business Delegation to Yunnan province, visiting both its capital Kunming as well as the resource-rich city of Qujing.
With the great support of our local partners, especially Yunnan Investment Promotion Bureau, we were able to meet executives of large Chinese enterprises, including but not limited to Chihong Zinc & Germanium, China Copper, China Aluminum, Kunming Iron & Steel, China Tobacco and Dianchi Water Treatment. The delegation was led by Austrian Commercial Consul to Guangzhou and Head of the Commercial Section of the Austrian Consulate in Chengdu, Ms. Birgit Murr, and joined by the Austrian companies RHI Magnesita, Andritz, Rosenbauer, Plasser & Theurer, S::CAN, Polytechnik, Commend, Gebrüder Weiss and cargo-partner.
The delegation was largely covered in local Chinese media. We are glad about the successful event and look forward to intensified cooperation between Austria and Yunnan province.
