From March 23 to 28, 2025, seven Austrian AI and Sustainability startups, with their sights set on Asian expansion, participated in the GIN GO HONG KONG acceleration program. This immersive week-long event was packed with targeted briefings, interactive workshops, and personalized mentoring sessions designed to equip these innovators with in-depth knowledge of the Hong Kong, Greater Bay Area, and broader Asian markets.
The participating startups took part in the Jumpstarter 2025 event organized by the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, engaging in business meetings with corporates, investors, and potential clients to test the Asian market readiness of their cutting-edge solutions. A standout event, the "Austrian Startup Night," was scheduled for the evening of March 25, where these entrepreneurs showcased their products and services, aiming to captivate potential investors and partners with their visionary pitches.
Additionally, this year, for the first time ever, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Hong Kong, The Global Incubator Network (GIN), Start2, AHK, and Swissnex in China hosted the DACH Startup Pitch Night. This exclusive networking event for startups and investors served as a satellite event of Jumpstarter 2025.
