The Yangtze River Delta (Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang) is undoubtedly the powerhouse of China's economy, and its highly developed manufacturing industry contributes by far the largest share of eastern China's economic output. This region is the famous "epicenter" of various industries: aviation, automobiles, heavy machinery, shipbuilding, etc. In addition, the Yangtze Delta is home to many world-famous large enterprises.
To facilitate networking and business initiation with companies in the region, Advantage Austria Shanghai organized a delegation trip on the topic of "Digital Solutions for Advanced Manufacturing". Seven innovative and some industry-leading companies participated in this event, including Fronius, Tyrolit, Ferrobotics, Agilox, Cargomind, Industrie Informatik and Weldmetrix.
During the trip, the delegation visited a number of well-known companies, including COMAC, which specialises in civilian commercial aircraft, CATL, the leading manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries, and the robotics company SIASUN Robotics. In addition to the numerous company visits, Advantage Austria Shanghai also planned a series of individual B2B meetings. Prior to the trip, the Austrian Consulate General Shanghai commercial section conducted a in-depth analysis of the technical details of the participants' offers and, based on this, specifically invited B2B partners.
