Amadeus Vienna is offering for the academic year 2023/24 scholarships for students from mainland China and Hong Kong. All applicants need to be at least 11 years old, have excellent English skills, be academically strong and be talented either in music, arts or dance and. Applicants are required to demonstrate achievement in academics and the arts, as well as to embody the values of AMADEUS Vienna at the highest level. Auditions, recitals with preselected candidates will take place in Hong Kong in April 1 and have to be attended in person.
About the Scholarships Schemes:
Chairmain Scholarship: Fully supported (tuition and boarding school): The successful candidate is an outstanding musical talent, strong character, and top 5% academic ability. The recipient of this scholarship will be required to pay for travel during term breaks, school uniform, and in country living expenses. [Value: 50,000 EUR for one year].
Tuition supported (100%) : The successful candidate has a strong character, top 5% academic ability, and considerable additional strengths ,. The recipient of this scholarship will be required to pay for travel during term breaks, school uniform, and in country living expenses as well as the costs of living in the AMADEUS boarding community (costs approximately 20,000 – 25,000 EUR per year). [Value: 30,000 EUR for one year].
Tuition supported (50%) – the successful candidate has a strong character, top 10% academic ability, and considerable additional strengths – the recipient of this scholarship will be required to pay for travel during term breaks, school uniform, and in country living expenses, as well as the costs of living in the AMADEUS boarding community and 50% of the tuition costs (costs approximately 35,000 – 45,000 EUR per year). [Value: 15,000 EUR per year].
AMADEUS Music and Arts Academy Scholarship”(music tuition) - the successful candidate has considerable musical and/or artistic talent and further potential, the candidate must also meet all academic and language related criteria of the school – the recipient of this scholarship will be required to pay for travel during term breaks, school uniform, and in country living expenses, as well as the costs of living in the AMADEUS boarding community and the tuition costs (costs approximately 40,000 – 50,000 EUR per year). [Value: 5,000 EUR per year].
