The Passive House Office is the first certified passive house office building in the warm and humid climate zone in Jiaxing, China. The Austrian company NEUBAU best.energy provided the general planning, energy planning and quality assurance. The 740 square meters of photovoltaics on the roof not only serve as a sustainable source of energy. Their surface area also plays an important role in shading, which significantly reduces the building's cooling energy requirements.

Energy efficiency and renewable energy supply are the focus of the Austrian Green Planet Building® (AGPB) Award. It transfers the objectives and strict criteria of the national climate protection initiative (klimaaktiv) for the building and real estate industry to international sphere. Austrian Green Planet Building® awards the outstanding achievements of Austrian planning offices, consultants, construction companies and production plants in the field of sustainable building abroad.

AGPB is an umbrella brand jointly supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) and AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA (AWA).

The Passive House Office in Jiaxing, China, receives the Austrian Green Planet Building® Award: Despite the warm and humid climatic conditions, this is the first office building in the region to be built to the Passive House Standard.
