Junior market research officer (Innovation / startups / Deisgn / Fashion)
Join our ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Team in Hong Kong and help us to support Austrian companies doing business with the region and to promote them as reliable innovative business partners. You will become a member of a small, multi-cultural team.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial marketing/market research for startups, design, and consumer products industry and services sectors with the identification of potential business partners
- Creating Market Research Reports
- Assisting with Market Entry Advice & Setting up Business Appointments
- Social Media and Content Marketing especially for the Chinese Audience (WeChat)
- Support in event organization, direct marketing, and trade fairs
- Ad-hoc projects / handling company checks & other enquiries
- Updating our Customer Relation Management (database)
Requirements:
- University degree: BA Eng. (Hons) or equivalent
- at least 12 months of work experience
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Cantonese and Mandarin are good to have, and German is a big advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong self-motivation, creative and pragmatic work approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ready to communicate via telephone and in person with local and Austrian business partners
- Outgoing personality with good manners
- Interest in other cultures

We are fortunate to have a small-dedicated team that works together smoothly in our modern office in Central Hong Kong. You will report to the Senior Manager, Startups & Innovation. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer MPF scheme, annual leave, maternity leave, and sickness allowance.
