At the beginning of January Harald Mahrer, the president of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and State Secratary for Digitalisation Flroian Tursky, came to Tel Aviv. Their focus was the Israeli HighTech and energy sectors.
Israel’s economy is projected to have grown at a rate of more than 6 in 2022, following its even faster expansion of around 8% in 2021, the year of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whether cybersecurity, artificial intelligence or renewable energies: Mahrer and Tursky see great potential for closer cooperations between Austria and Israel!
During their visit they had the change to interact with many Israeli stakeholders and entrepreneurs, such as Helios, Augwind, NetZero Incubator, Enel, Esil, The Israel Innovation Authority, Start-up Nation Central and many more!
