The high-level forum was inaugurated by Austrian Chancellor H.E. Christian Stocker, Federal Minister for Economy, Energy and Tourism H.E. Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer, and India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal. The event was jointly organised by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA New Delhi in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Bringing together senior government representatives, industry leaders, investors, and business delegates from both countries, the Forum served as a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and future-oriented business engagement. The strong participation at both political and business levels reflected the increasing importance of India–Austria relations in driving innovation, sustainable growth, and international economic cooperation.

A major highlight of the Forum was the series of in-depth exchanges focused on key future-oriented sectors with strong potential for bilateral collaboration. Discussions covered strategic industries including finance, industrial supply and machinery, infrastructure and mobility, green technology, recycling and sustainability, IT consulting, and education.

The event further underscored New Delhi’s role as a strategic centre for policy, commerce, and international business engagement, making it a vital gateway for global partnerships and economic collaboration in India.
