In April, over 15 Austrian companies visited Ghana and Nigeria to explore new business opportunities. Many local companies seized the opportunity for meeting with members of the Austrian delegation in order to establish new contacts or deepen valuable relationships. On this occasion, the Commercial Counsellor at the Austrian Embassy, Mr. Guido Stock, invited business partners to a networking cocktail in Lagos and Accra, which turned out to be exiting evenings with great food, drinks and music.
During the networking cocktail, the Ambassador of the Austrian Embassy in Abuja, Mr. Werner Senfter, also seized the opportunity to honour the long standing and trustworthy partners of Advantage Austria in Ghana, Mr. Danny Mainoo and in Benin, Mr. Maurice Gouthon, with the Merit Award in Gold for their continuous work and support in fostering the business ties between Austria and the two respective countries.
