From October 24 to 26, 2024, AUSTRIA CONNECT China, the largest Sino-Austrian business event in the Greater China region, was proudly organized by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Hong Kong. This flagship conference brought together over 150 enthusiastic participants from Austrian companies, both local and international, reinforced by the unwavering support of the Austrian Consulate, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, and our generous sponsors.
Under the inspiring theme, “Navigating New Horizons – Unleashing Opportunities in Hong Kong and The Greater Bay Area & Beyond,” the event featured a dynamic lineup of keynote speeches and panel discussions. Attendees explored exciting topics such as sustainable tourism, the evolving business landscape in China, and the intricacies of modern supply chains and innovative HR practices.
Highlights included insights from Alfons Mensdorff-Pouilly, CEO of Jebsen Group, who shared his inspiring journey and the rich heritage of his company. Ajmal Samuel, a Hong Kong-based entrepreneur and national-level athlete, captivated the audience with his story of resilience and the discovery of exciting new opportunities in Hong Kong. Additionally, economist Erin Xin provided an economic outlook for both Hong Kong and China, setting the stage for future growth and collaboration.
