China's leading injection moulding machine and plastics production fair CHINAPLAS made an impressive return to the new exhibition centre in Shenzhen (17 ultra-modern halls) after a one-year break. With more than 152,000 visitors on the four days of the fair, an increase in local visitors of almost 24% compensated for the absence of international guests. Fifteen companies were represented at the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA group stand, and about another five exhibited in the trade halls.
To "warm up", the representatives of the Austrian companies could already get to know each other at the networking reception the evening before, where Harry Obereder (Emporia company) from Upper Austria, who has been based in Shenzhen for 14 years, presented Shenzhen from the perspective of a foreign company with a short talk.
