September 1-5 will see another edition of the World Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo (WWSE) taking place in Beijing. There, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Beijing has organized an Austrian pavilion, where five leading Austrian companies in the fields of winter sports equipment and know-how will showcase their expertise to the Chinese audience. Furthermore, Dr. Michael Berger, Head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Beijing, will also participate at the WWSE’s Opening Ceremony on September 1, where he will hold a speech.

Over the past years WWSE has become one of the most important exhibitions for the Chinese winter sports industry. Even after the successful hosting of the Beijing Winter Olympics China’s winter skiing industry is set to continue growing over the next years. Over the past years, Austrian winter sports companies have been at the forefront of this trend and helped develop and equip numerous Chinese ski resorts not just for the Olympic Games but across the entire country.
