A delegation of about 20 architects, building engineers and company representatives from Ghana and Nigeria attended in June the yearly "Future of Building" conference organized by our head office in Vienna. This year the topics focused on current building themes and future markets in Asia and Africa. During the conference, participants had an opportunity for exchange with over 60 Austrian lecturers and foreign experts as well as the choice to attend various workshops.
Members of the delegation from Ghana and Nigeria visited top companies such as Domoferm, the leading European suppliers for steel doors, fire protection doors and frames; and Bene who specialize in office design concepts and office furniture.
They also embarked on field trips to exciting construction projects in Vienna such as the Smart City Seestadt Aspern, Biotope-City, the Campus of the University of Economics or Wienerberger, the biggest brick manufacturer in the world.
85 Austrian companies exhibited and over 1,700 B2B meetings could be arranged.
