The Jurtschitsch winery has long been regarded as an almost ideal example of Austrian wine culture at its finest. Alwin and Stefanie Jurtschitsch have been managing the winery for some time now and have reinterpreted what in their view constitutes a premium wine.
For them, it means vinifying wines with a cool, elegant style that are as authentic, complex and terroir-specific as possible - in other words, allowing the Langenlois vineyards their individual expression. New parameters, which in reality go back to ancient traditions, form the basis for this approach: organic cultivation, healthy soils, minimal intervention in the cellar and constant experimentation to keep track of the inexhaustible riches of the world of wine.
