Company profile

Stift Klosterneuburg has been growing wine since its foundation in 1114, making it the oldest winery in Austria. With 108 hectares of vineyards, it is one of the most prestigious wineries in the country. Centuries of experience, careful cultivation of the vineyards in harmony with nature and an openness to new ideas create top wines year after year. The winery's award-winning wines are made in the centuries-old cellars, which extend three floors below ground. In addition to excellent wines, the winery also makes sparkling wines, fine brandies and highly acclaimed naturally cloudy, single-variety fruit juices. As the first climate-neutral winery in Austria, Stift Klosterneuburg also plays a pioneering role in matters of sustainability and climate protection.
