AGATEX, a long-established Austrian speciality chemicals company, has officially commenced construction of its first international production site in Thailand. Building on more than one hundred years of operations in Lambach, the company is now entering its next phase of expansion in the Asia Pacific region.
The ceremony to mark the start of construction reflects AGATEX’s long term commitment to the region and the continued confidence Austrian industry has in Thailand’s strategic position and stable economic environment. The new facility represents both a production investment and a further deepening of economic cooperation between Austria and Thailand. The event was attended by H.E. Wilhelm M. Donko, Ambassador of Austria to Thailand.
