The 4th International Sustainable Energy Conference, ISEC 2026, will once again take place in Graz from April 14-16, focusing on the question of how we can achieve energy sovereignty within a time horizon dictated by climate change and defined by politics.

Through more than 100 presentations and 20 thematic sessions ISEC 2026 aims to spur advancements towards a sustainable circular economy, the complete phase-out of fossil fuels, the implementation of sector coupling, energy storage systems, and smart electrification. The conference’s participants are comprised of researchers, industry leaders, and energy policymakers from around the world ready to contribute their newest findings, innovations and demonstrations, particularly on renewable heating and cooling in integrated urban and industrial energy systems.

The conference is organized by AEE INTEC and co-organized by UNIDO.
