The "Build'n Green 2026" conference was jointly hosted by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and the Enterprise Europe Network Austria. The event is part of the "go-international" initiative—a joint program of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. The event focused on three core themes: circular economy, sustainable construction and energy solutions, and international cooperation.

The conference was a major event of considerable scale, attracting nearly 900 industry representatives from over 80 countries worldwide. Utilizing an advanced hybrid format that combined online and in-person elements, the conference facilitated more than 1,300 B2B matchmaking meetings, providing an efficient platform for exchange and collaboration between industry stakeholders and research institutions. Throughout the event, the Chinese business delegation held in-depth discussions with experts, academics, and corporate representatives from Austria and across Europe, focusing on topics such as timber construction technologies, the application of renewable materials, and sustainable urban development.

In addition to participating in the "Build'n Green 2026", ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Beijing organized visits for the Chinese delegation to two internationally renowned timber construction companies: Rubner Holzbau GmbH and KLH Massivholz GmbH. During these visits, the delegation engaged in industry-specific exchanges and held discussions regarding potential collaborations with company representatives, using the market prospects of timber construction as a starting point.

This exchange initiative deepened mutual understanding between China and Austria in the field of sustainable construction and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation in timber structures, ecological building materials, and low-carbon technologies.
