BOLD is an innovation initiative co-ordinated by the Austrian Economic Chamber. The network offers pioneers and visionaries, entrepreneurs and creative minds an opportunity to mingle and swap notes as they jointly shape the economy of the future.
ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA boasts an extensive network and solid connections in more than 70 countries, and is proud to lend its support, providing access to pioneering minds all over the world. The BOLD community has been growing in leaps and bounds, with some 2,000 members in regular contact, developing concepts and encouraging new ventures; the idea is to promote innovation across sectors and national borders.
The so-called “BOLD Minds” are leading experts from the worlds of commerce, research, politics and the creative sector who are playing an active role in shaping our present and imagining our future with their projects, visions and dedication. Curated events held all over the globe afford companies and innovators an opportunity to interact directly with BOLD Minds; more than 21,000 matches have been made amongst community members in the last two years alone.
The community’s flagship event is the annual BOLD UnConference: more than 50 selected members meet up in Austria to visit a host of different regions within the country and spend the four days of the event working with innovative Austrian firms on solutions for today’s challenges. The results are compiled and published as a paper.
