Economic Forum Styria - Ho Chi Minh City

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Austria and Viet Nam, the State of Styria co-hosted an economic forum together with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on 19 October 2022.

Around 150 companies from Austria and Ho Chi Minh City joined the economic forum on "technologies for urban areas and industry". Next to a series of key notes and presentations, the companies from both countries used the opportunity of one-on-one meetings to get to know new business partners.

ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Vietnam and the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City co-organized the economic forum on the occasion of the visit of a Stryian delegation to Ho Chi Minh City.

From 16 to 20 October 2022, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Vietnam hosted a large trade mission on the occasion of the official visit of a delegation from the State of Styria, headed by State Minister Barbara Eibinger-Miedl. The delegation visited Hanoi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City. Political meetings and a business forum in Ho Chi Minh City took place in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Austria and Viet Nam.

Minister of foreign affairs visits Austria

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Austria and Viet Nam, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Bùi Thanh Sơn, paid an official visit to Austria. On 29 September 2022, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber hosted a business forum for the minister and his business delegation from Viet Nam.
