On May 6–7, 2026, the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA pavilion presented a strong lineup of Austrian railway expertise at the Asia Pacific Rail Exhibition 2026 in Bangkok. At our group stand, we showcased six leading Austrian companies whose technologies are shaping the future of rail systems worldwide:
- BOXmover – modular railway engineering focused on efficient industrial manufacturing and flexible logistics solutions
- Getzner Werkstoffe – global leader in vibration isolation for railway, construction and industry
- NET-Automation - advanced force measurement systems for brake technology
- voestalpine Railway Systems – global leader for system solutions in the field of railway infrastructure
- voestalpine Signaling Austria – offering turnout equipment and signaling technology under the strong umbrella of voestalpine Railway Systems
- Wieland Austria – maintenance-free roller systems for railroad turnouts with the systematic further development of its "rolling instead of lubricating" concept
With Thailand and many other Asian countries investing heavily in rail infrastructure, the moment is full of opportunities. Austrian companies, with their proven expertise and innovative solutions, are ideally positioned to support this dynamic growth and shape the future of rail in the region.
