Over the past 12 months, a majority of Austrian subsidiaries in Thailand judged the general economic climate as worse (54 %) or merely stable (33 %), while only 13 % saw improvement.
Looking ahead to the next 12 months, optimism rises: 33 % expect an improvement in economic climate, 60 % expect stability.
As for business-performance indicators many respondents predict these will remain stable or improve — reflecting cautious optimism about business conditions.
Regarding the development of AI-based products and services over the next 12 months: a noticeable share of companies expect increase in demand/use of such AI-based offerings.
The survey also asked about the importance of sustainability for companies: a significant share considers it “important” or “very important”.
