ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Vietnam organizes a business mission for Austrian providers of technologies for mobility and related infrastructure solutions. The mission will visit Vietnam from 22-23 May 2024 to have meetings with public and private stakeholders.

Vietnam is considered an attractive market and location for mobility technologies. On the one hand, the country will make extensive investments in the expansion of transport infrastructure (airports, roads, railroads, ports) in the coming years and gradually improve and technologically upgrade the urban transport networks in the major cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. This creates a need for equipment and know-how from abroad, for example in the areas of urban mobility, railroad technology, subway construction, airport infrastructure, etc. On the other hand, Vietnam has also made progress in the development and localisation of the automotive industry and assembly, despite its small market size. 

Austrian companies are well equipped to serve the needs of Vietnam's mobility sector with infrastructure supplies and technologies. The Austrian trade mission focuses on B2G and B2B meetings in the areas of urban mobility, railways, aviation, and automotive.
