With the support of the Austrian government, the Company delivered educational projects to universities in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, to enhance the country’s automotive engineering capabilities. It is also involved in the success of VinFast, Vietnam's first automobile maker.
Beyond that the Company provides the national motor vehicle emission test center under Vietnam Register with turnkey solutions and a know-how transfer program.
AVL also adapted a BMW-based engine to local market needs and is especially proud to be partner of VinFast in the provision of a world-class engine shop. AVL consults and provides the powertrain and production plant engineering, delivers quality assurance and end-of-line testing as well as realizes R&D test systems for global vehicle models,
battery electric cars and motorcycles.
