Volterio’s intelligent charging robot consists of components and is easy to install; one unit is located on the underside of the vehicle and the other on the ground within the parking area.
The two units link automatically via ultrafast broadband as soon as the car is parked – precise parking is not required to make the connection.
While energy losses of up to 25% can arise with other charging systems, practically nothing goes to waste here.
Having first been used in private households, this type of energy charging for electric cars is set to be available in public parking areas in the future too.
