A very interesting tour of the rapid construction progress of the Jordanian Free and Development Zones group (JFDZ) Ajloun Ropeway Project in Jordan, realized by Austria’s Doppelmayr Garaventa Group, Issa Haddadin & Partners ( Construction Co ) TIBAH Consultants and Mostaqbal Engineering & Environmental Consultants!
It is worth mentioning that The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG) and the Austrian company Doppelmayr Cable Car GmbH on signed an implementation agreement in 2019 to kick off the execution of the cable car project in Ajloun’s Suwwan Development Zone at an estimated cost of JD10 million. As per the agreement, the implementation would be carried out over 18 months.
According to the JFDZG, Ajloun’s cable car project aims at boosting tourism in the northern region and provides some 50 jobs upon launch. However, the indirect and parallel business to be generated through investment opportunities in the development zone is expected to create some 700 jobs.
We can hardly wait for the opening and hope the construction work will continue successfully and will come to a conclusion in the coming summer!
