WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?


The world has changed in unexpected and dramatic ways. The world economy has been disrupted, industries have been affected in unforeseen ways and our lives have been turned upside down. Hence, this year's conference theme will not come as a surprise. The 14th edition of the AUSTRIA CONNECT NORTH AMERICA will examine how to 'thrive in the new normal'. Speaking of new normal, also the conference itself will be held in a different format. Be prepared and expect the unexpected.


On Thursday, we will kick-off this year's conference with a reception at the Western Union Corporate HQ, hosted by Western Union President and CEO Hikmet Ersek, followed by the conference day on Friday. After the conference on Friday afternoon, we will head out to Vail for the optional weekend program. We have planned for a day of skiing and snowboarding with surprise guests and professional winter sport guides. The conference will conclude with a fireside chat with the Austrian Honorary Consul Hikmet Ersek and a special guest.  


Get ready for inspiring and insightful presentations from top-speakers across a variety of industries. Here is quick glimpse into some of this year's speakers and topics:


  • Robyn O'Brien - Co-founder of rePlant Capital, a financial services firm that aims at transitioning farmland to regenerative and organic agriculture. Robyn is a trusted food industry advisor, strategist, and public speaker.
  • Ernesto Sirolli - Founder of the Sirolli Institute, author and highly sought after speaker. Ernesto is a leading consultant in the field of economic development.
  • Martin Keller - Martin has served as director of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since 2015. In this capacity, he has developed a three-pronged strategy for ENREL that has led to game-changing scientific outcomes.
