Scaling Sports in America

Building on three successful editions of the Sportreise in die Zukunft series, Austria is positioning itself at the forefront of the U.S. sports economy with Scaling Sports in America, a flagship business and innovation delegation organized by Advantage Austria in New York City, in partnership with Martin Kaswurm, CEO of Chaka2.

From June 22–24, Austrian sports tech companies, investors, and decision-makers will engage directly with the U.S. sports ecosystem to explore growth & partnerships. The program is strategically aligned with the FIFA World Cup 2026 and highlights the United States as the world’s most developed market for sports commercialization.

The delegation program offers practical insights into how U.S. sports leagues operate, monetize, and scale. Participants will engage with representatives from professional leagues, franchises, and related sports organizations on topics including sports as an asset class, media rights, fan engagement, and international commercialization models. Scaling Sports in America highlights Austria’s strengths in sports technology and innovation—connecting Austrian companies with the leagues, institutions, and platforms shaping the future of the global sports industry.
