US Trade in turmoil
Early in 2017, the US administration announced that trade deficits with other countries would be considered unfair and that "fair trade" would be sought. Accordingly, trade policy measures - in particular tariffs - were introduced that also affect Austrian companies.
The webinar will provide an overview of the existing tariffs and restrictions, which cover various product areas such as aluminum and steel, agricultural products or goods originating from China. At the same time, possible future developments based on the recently changed framework conditions (Covid-19 as well as new investigations in the field of mobile cranes and vanadium) will be discussed.
We have invited Ms. Nicole Bivens-Collinson from Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg who will talk about these topics and will give her assessment of expected developments.
