voestalpine has agreed to sell its subsidiary voestalpine BÖHLER Profil GmbH & Co KG to U.S.-based industrial technology company Kadant Inc. The transaction forms part of voestalpine’s ongoing portfolio optimization within its High Performance Metals division.
BÖHLER Profil specializes in tailor-made special profiles and high-performance industrial knives for demanding industrial applications. Following closing, the business is expected to be integrated into Kadant’s industrial processing segment, strengthening Kadant’s product offering while ensuring continuity at the Austrian site, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
