It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that the former Austrian Trade Commissioner to the United States, Michael Friedl, has suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, 3 May 2026.
We mourn an outstanding Head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Thailand, a highly respected colleague, and a dear friend. His leadership, dedication, and personality have left a lasting impact on all of us.
