Join our team in Los Angeles as Green Tech Research & Market Analyst.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Research & Market Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our team with targeted research and insights related to sustainability and sustainable technologies, helping Austrian companies identify and pursue market opportunities in North America. This is not an academic role, but rather a dynamic and applied position at the intersection of sustainability, business development, and international collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and compile reports on trends, developments, and policies in sustainability, climate tech, green infrastructure, and related sectors in North America
- Monitor relevant news, publications, and market intelligence sources
- Support strategic analysis and stakeholder mapping for Austrian companies entering the U.S. market
- Contribute to the planning and execution of events, delegations, and networking activities focused on sustainability and innovation
- Prepare concise internal briefings, presentations, and content to support team initiatives
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in Los Angeles and across the global Advantage Austria network
What We’re Looking For
- Academic background in sustainability, environmental sciences, international business, economics, or a related field
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize information effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a major plus)
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Strong interest in sustainability, global markets, and innovation-driven industries
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
