Celebrating a major milestone, we are thrilled to have been part of the Austrian company Mosdorfer's official announcement of its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Oconee County, South Carolina.
The family-owned company Mosdorfer traces its roots back three centuries and has spent the past 76 years specializing in the development and manufacture of fittings for overhead transmission lines. Today, Mosdorfer stands as an industry leader and glob al supplier to the high-voltage transmission line sector. Mosdorfer is a core company within the Knill Gruppe.
Mosdorfer's investment in the United States underscores its commitment to serving U.S. customers more closely, efficiently, and responsively. The new facility will design and manufacture high voltage transmission line hardware and accessories - primarily made from steel and aluminum components - supported by the company´s in-house engineering and design expertise. As the demand for energy continues to rise, new technologies are essential for efficient, reliable, and sustainable power transmission. This is precisely where Mosdorfer's products and system solutions make a meaningful impact.
Mosdorfer will require a skilled, quality-focused, and customer-oriented workforce. Oconee County's strong educational and technical training infrastructure provides an excellent foundation for developing the talent and specialized capabilities needed for the future team.
