Around 60 MBA students from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) Executive Academy, mostly Austrian executives and startup founders, took part in an exclusive innovation learning journey through Silicon Valley.
The program featured visits to leading tech companies like Netflix, Apple, and SAP, talks by venture capitalists and experts from companies such as Tesla and Amazon, and sessions with startup accelerators such as Startup House. Core topics included AI, entrepreneurship, and the Valley’s unique innovation culture.
The highlight was a hands-on hackathon, where participants tackled real-world challenges for companies like Swarovski and OMV, guided by mentors and a pitch coach. After 24 hours, teams presented impressive solutions at SAP’s innovation lab.
