Farnborough International Airshow 2022
For decades, the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) has been the global platform for the aerospace and defence industry. Over 1,500 exhibitors from 48 countries present their products to over international 80,000 visitors. Meet the representatives of the Austrian Aviation industry at the Austrian Pavilion in Hall 3, stand 3727b.
Austria’s aviation industry employs over 10 000 people. The sector has an export quota of approx. 75%, with the UK being the third largest export market in Europe.
Austria’s aerospace companies offer a wide range of products and services such as metal and plastic components and systems for major civilian aircraft manufacturers, the manufacture of inspection systems, innovative solutions for air traffic control, training and education, and particularly the production of small aircraft and aircraft engines for civil aviation. The Airbus 380 incorporates a wide variety of high-technology products manufactured in Austria.
